The Mat bar stool with armrests from Normann Copenhagen It stands next to kitchen islands, bar counters, and high tables. The bowl, made of hemp and seagrass, has a calm and natural look, and the armrests invite you to linger.

design & material

The Danish design studio Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen designed "Mat," short for "Materials." The shell is created using a compression process from a mixture containing 75% hemp fibers and seagrass, a type of algae, and sits on powder-coated steel legs. According to the manufacturer, it is designed for disassembly and recycling. BauParts can be reused in new productions.

comfort & function

The 75 cm seat height is suitable for counters and tables that are higher than a standard kitchen counter. The fully upholstered fabric makes the seat soft, and the armrests provide comfortable support for your arms. Weighing only 7 kg, the chair is easy to move.

Variants & series

There are 7 variations: with Hallingdal 110, Remix 133 or Ultra 41599 fabric, as well as in beige. Choose the shade to match your floor and kitchen. Also available: the Mat Bar Stool 75 cm fully upholstered cream steel without armrests from the Mat Collection: Scandinavian design for your home.

Mission & combination

Place two or three chairs at the kitchen island of an open-plan kitchen, complemented by light wood or matte stone. In the living area, a bar with a standing table creates a small guest nook. More models: Bar stool collection.

Mat Kollektion: Skandinavisches Design für dein Zuhause

Mat ist die Sitzmöbelserie von Normann Copenhagen mit einer Schale aus Naturfasern wie Seegras oder Hanffasern. Die Serie steht laut Hersteller für Innovation und Kreislaufwirtschaft.

Drei Sitzformen: Die Serie umfasst den Mat Stuhl, den Mat Lehnstuhl mit Armlehnen und den Mat Barstuhl mit Armlehne in der 75-cm-Ausführung.
Naturfaser-Schale: Die Sitzschale gibt es in Seegras oder Hanffasern, und ihre Struktur bleibt je nach Polsterung ganz oder teilweise sichtbar.
Vier Polstervarianten: Du wählst zwischen ungepolstert, mit Polster, Frontpolster oder Vollpolster, zum Beispiel mit Bezügen wie Hallingdal 110, Remix 133 oder Ultra 41599.
Gestell nach Wahl: Das Untergestell ist in schwarzem Stahl, cremefarbenem Stahl oder Buchenholz erhältlich.
Einheitliche Essgruppe: Stühle und Lehnstühle im gleichen Gestell lassen sich am Esstisch kombinieren, zum Beispiel mit Armlehnen an den Kopfenden.
