design & material

Danish designer Simon Legald designed Edge according to minimalist principles. The table is made entirely of travertine, a natural stone with a striking structure and unique patterns. The stone is cut into slabs of various sizes at the quarry, and Edge uses precisely these slabs to make the best use of the material. The geometric BauThe wise design casts interesting shadows, and the clean lines create a calm contrast to the organic look of the stone.
