A defining characteristic of Meila is its continuous backrest, which seamlessly transitions into the integrated armrests on the armchair version. Chenille, foam and solid ash wood

The chairs are upholstered in chenille fabric in beige or green. The fabric has a vibrant, nuanced surface and a pleasantly soft feel. Inside, polyurethane foam provides comfort: the seat is medium-firm with 30 kg/m³ of foam, while the backrest is slightly softer at 24 kg/m³. The chair is supported by solid ash legs, available in either a natural or walnut finish.
