Panel Collection – Dining Tables by Normann Copenhagen

Panel: a dining table made of three surfaces

With Panel, the Danish designer Simon Legald has created for Normann Copenhagen A dining table was designed that dispenses with the classic four-legged construction. The table consists of three slab-like elements: the tabletop and two flat steel legs. A steel beam connects the two legs and provides stability. The result is a calm, grafA classic silhouette, typical of Scandinavian design.

Material and workmanship

The tabletop is made of solid pine wood, FSC® certified (FSC-C163461) and from other controlled sources. It is dark.braun The wood is stained and coated with a matte protective lacquer to safeguard the surface in everyday use. The base is made of powder-coated steel. The contrast between the warm wood and the smooth metal surface defines the table's character.

Sizes and colors

The Panel Table is available in four sizes: 90 x 200 cm, 90 x 250 cm, 90 x 300 cm, and 100 x 420 cm. The more compact versions are ideal for kitchen-diners and dining rooms, while the 420 cm long version is perfect for large gatherings, meeting rooms, or open-plan living areas. You can choose between black and cream for the frame. Black, combined with the dark tabletop, creates a solid and bold look, while cream provides a lighter contrast to the wood.
