The New School Lounge N4NL01 by . mdd,, designed by Form Us With, Love, combines timeless design with exceptional seating comfort and is the perfect choice for modern lounge and waiting areas. As part of the popular NewSchool family, this lounge chair was developed specifically for moments of relaxation, informal meetings, and stylish interior designs. The characteristic construction with its delicate metal tube frame remains intact but has been specifically refined to provide an even more comfortable seating experience.
Thanks to the larger seat and the refined seating angle, the armchair invites you to lean back and relax. The deep seat is tilted at a 12° angle , , while the wide backrest, tilted at 25° , provides optimal support for the back and forearms. This opens up the chest and prevents a hunched posture—ideal for extended periods of sitting with maximum comfort. Optionally, the chair can be equipped with armrests and a separate footrest to further enhance its seating comfort.
The New School Lounge N4NL01 impresses with its sturdy yet lightweight construction. The seat and backrest are made of 8-ply, 9 mm plywood , , which gives the chair a premium feel and ensures long-lasting quality. The four-legged base made of Ø20 mm metal tubing with a 2 mm wall thickness is powder-coated and ensures stability during daily use. In this version, the frame and wooden surfaces feature a harmonious color combination: dark green semi-matte RAL 6012for the frame and olive green RAL 6013for the seat and backrest. This version comes without armrests, thereby emphasizing its minimalist, elegant lines.
