Afi - Chair by MDD: Timeless design for versatile spaces

The Afi chair combines Scandinavian-inspired design with high-quality materials. The seat and backrest are made of plywood with a natural oak veneer, while the cantilevered frame, made of powder-coated tubing in semi-matte black (RAL 9005), ensures a calm and stylish look. The polypropylene feet are suitable for soft floors and protect your flooring.

Material and construction

The seat is made of 10 mm thick plywood, the backrest of 11 mm thick plywood. Both plywood elements are coated with a flame-retardant varnish that complies with the standards ÖNORM A 1605-12, ÖNORM A 3800-1, DIN 4102-B1 and EN 13501-1. The frame consists of a 12 mm diameter tube and can support up to 120 kg.

Practical in everyday life

Thanks to the spacers under the seat, up to 5 chairs can be stacked to save space without scratching the plywood. The seat height of 450 mm is suitable for standard table heights, and the easy-care plywood chair is ideal for rooms with frequent users – such as hotels, restaurants, medical facilities, offices, or public spaces. Optional armrests are available to further enhance seating comfort.

• Rückenlehne - Sperrholz, 11 mm stark;
• Basis: Freischwinger; Gestell aus einem Rohr Ø12 mm, hergestellt, pulverbeschichtet; Füsschen aus Polypropylen, Farbe: schwarz;
• Die Sperrholzelemente sind mit einem schwer entflammbaren Lack beschichtet, der den Normen entspricht: ÖNORM A 1605-12, ÖNORM A 3800-1, DIN 4102-B1 i EN 13501-1;

• Die Stapelbarkeit von bis zu 5 Stück erleichtert die Lagerung der Stühle, wenn sie nicht gebraucht werden;
• Die unter der Sitzfläche angebrachten Abstandshalter verhindern ein Zerkratzen des Sperrholzes beim Stapeln der Stühle;
• Sitzhöhe: 450 mm, passend zur Standard-Tischhöhe;
• Optionale Armlehnen erhöhen den Komfort;
• Der Sperrholzstuhl ist pflegeleicht und eignet sich daher gut für Räume, in denen die Benutzer häufig wechseln;
• Der Kufenfuss aus Draht ist leicht, so dass die Stühle einfach zu bewegen sind;
• Für Hotels, Restaurants, medizinische Einrichtungen und andere öffentliche Räume oder Büroräume
