The name Catena refers to the chain line: the U-shaped curve a chain or cable takes when held only at the ends. You can recognize it by the soft curves and the topstitching. The design originates from Denmark, and production takes place in Italy. The padding is made of microfoam, which, according to the manufacturer, combines comfort and durability.

The cover is removable. The connection system joins modules together, allowing you to expand your sofa step by step. It complies with EN 16139:2013 (seating furniture for non-private use); the standards are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.
