The name Catena refers to the catenary curve: a U-shaped form, like that of a chain or cable when only the ends are supported. The design originates from Denmark, while production takes place in Italy. The modules are made of microfoam, which Ferm Living describes it as comfortable and durable.

Measuring 108 cm wide, 78 cm deep, and 42 cm high, the pouf offers ample surface area close to the floor – perfect for sitting, putting your feet up, or using as a base for a tray. The cover is removable. Thanks to the connection system, you can combine the pouf with other Catena modules, allowing your seating arrangement to grow with you. It complies with the EN 16139:2013 standard for seating furniture intended for non-private use, which is designed for individuals weighing up to 110 kg.
