Design and inspiration

Simon Legald was inspired by the Danish hygge spirit when designing the Hyg series. The series is characterized by soft lines and enveloping contours that create an intimate and cozy space. Originally introduced in 2018, the series included a two-seater sofa, armchair, and footstool. In 2020, the collection was expanded to include a chair and a barstool, retaining the signature features of the Lounge series: friendly, organic curves that ensure outstanding comfort.

Materials and workmanship

The Hyg 65 cm bar stool is upholstered in high-quality Ultra leather, which is not only durable but also extremely comfortable to use.
