Discover the Hyg bar stool 75 cm from Normann Copenhagen, a MeisterA work of design that combines comfort and aesthetics. This bar stool is part of the renowned Hyg series, designed by Danish designer Simon Legald. Inspired by the Danish philosophy of Hygge, this series represents coziness, warmth, and a feeling of security.

Design and inspiration

Simon Legald launched the Hyg series in 2018, initially consisting of a two-seater sofa, armchairs, and a footstool. In 2020, the series was expanded to include a chair and a bar stool, both incorporating the lounge series' signature features: organic curves and inviting shapes that ensure exceptional comfort. The Hyg bar stool (75 cm) is a perfect example of this design philosophy.

Materials and workmanship

The Hyg bar stool is crafted from high-quality black oak and fully upholstered in a durable and stylish Remix fabric. The combination of natural materials and thoughtful design makes this bar stool a highlight in any room.

Perfect for dining and lounge areas

The Hyg series was designed to create cohesive room settings that seamlessly blend dining and lounge areas. The Hyg bar stool (75 cm) is ideal for kitchen islands, bars, or high tables, providing comfortable seating for social gatherings.

Experience Hygge

Hygge is more than just a design concept – it's a way of life. The Hyg bar stool was designed to offer the body rest and support, allowing you to completely relax. Simon Legald explains: "The feeling of hygge isn't just linked to the visual experience of the design – it encompasses the entire sensory spectrum."
