Hyg bar stool 75 cm upholstery oak olive/remix by Normann Copenhagen

Discover the elegant and comfortable Hyg bar stool, 75 cm upholstery, oak olive/remix by Normann Copenhagen, a MeisterA work by Danish designer Simon Legald. Inspired by the Danish philosophy of Hygge, this bar stool combines soft lines and enveloping contours to create a feeling of intimacy and coziness.

Design and inspiration

The Hyg series was launched in 2018 and originally comprised a two-seater sofa, an armchair, and a footstool. In 2020, the collection was expanded to include a chair and a bar stool, which retain the lounge series' signature features: organic curves and exceptional comfort. Simon Legald explains: “The feeling of hygge isn't just linked to the visual experience of the design – it encompasses the entire sensory spectrum.”

Materials and workmanship

The Hyg bar stool is made from high-quality materials that guarantee both durability and aesthetic appeal. The seat is upholstered in a premium Remix fabric in olive green, while the frame is crafted from solid oak. This combination gives the bar stool a natural and modern look.

Perfect for dining and lounge areas

The Hyg bar stool is ideal for use in dining and lounge areas. Its ergonomic shape offers optimal comfort, while its timeless design blends seamlessly into various interior styles. Whether in the kitchen, at the bar, or in the living room – this bar stool creates an inviting atmosphere.
