Hyg chair fully upholstered black oak

Simon Legald drew inspiration from Danish hygge for his Hyg furniture series, where soft lines and enveloping contours create an intimate and cozy space. Launched in 2018, the series consisted of a two-seater sofa, armchairs, and a footstool. In 2020, the range was expanded to include a chair and a bar stool. Both showcase the lounge series' signature features: friendly, organic curves designed for exceptional comfort. Komfort.Hygge It means feeling good – security, warmth, and comfort are part of the DNA of this very special feeling, and these qualities are the starting points for the Hyg series. With the new models entfaThe series – and its coziness – continues to expand, making it possible to create harmonious room settings with dining and lounge areas. "People sitting together, having deep conversations, and sharing a meal – that, for me, is the epitome of hygge. It was therefore natural that the Hyg series should also provide a framework for this kind of experience. The feeling of hygge isn't just linked to the visual experience of the design – it encompasses the entire sensory spectrum. Intensive work went into designing the chair to offer the body rest and support – so that it's simply comfortable to sit in," explains Simon Legald.
