STEEL Keep in mind that steel is a material that can rust if exposed to water and moisture for extended periods. Paint or other finishes are what keep rust at bay, so it's important not to damage the finish. Solvents should not be used on painted or varnished steel, as this will dissolve the surface and expose it to rust. For daily care, clean with a soft cloth and soapy water. Always wipe the surface dry afterward, avoiding excess water. SOLID WOOD Wood is a living material with natural variations in tone and grain. Wood matures over time, and to avoid color changes, it's important that all parts of the furniture are exposed to the same amount of light. Never place hot objects directly on the surface, and don't place the furniture near a heat source, as this can lead to cracking. Keep in mind that both humidity and temperature affect the behavior of wood, causing it to swell or shrink. Make it a routine to check and adjust hinges and screws regularly. Most of our indoor wooden furniture is finished with either oil, varnish, or paint. Untreated furniture should be oiled to maintain its beautiful appearance. If you are unsure whether your furniture is finished or not, please contact your salesperson. For daily care, use a soft, dry cloth, preferably microfiber, to clean the furniture. To remove stains, we recommend using a soft cloth and soapy water. Be careful not to use too much water and wipe the surface dry immediately afterward. Be sure to wipe up any spills immediately.
