Recycled material with a unique surface

The panels of the Pap Bookcase are made from discarded food cartons, such as milk cartons and other composite packaging, which would otherwise be incinerated. The material is coarsely shredded, leaving small fragments of the original packaging visible. The plastic layers within are activated by heat and act as a natural binder – entirely without the use of additional chemicals.

Das Pap Bücherregal besteht aus Platten aus recycelten Verpackungen, die mit Metallrohren verbunden sind, um den Rahmen des Bücherregals zu stabilisieren. Die Regalböden sind höhenverstellbar. Die Platten werden ohne den Einsatz von Chemikalien hergestellt und weisen sichtbare Fragmente der ursprünglichen Verpackung auf, was zu natürlichen Variationen in Farbe und Muster führt.
