The Shelter table lamp The Shelter table lamp from Normann Copenhagen is a masterpiece of modern design. Designed by the renowned Danish design duo HolmbäckNordentoft, this lamp combines understated elegance with functional lighting. The Shelter table lamp is not only a light source but also a stylish decorative object that creates a cozy atmosphere in any room.
The Shelter table lamp impresses with its conical shape and rounded lampshade, which together create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. The sharp lines of the design stand in aesthetic contrast to the soft curves, giving the lamp a unique dynamism. The lamp is made of formed steel with a matte lacquered finish, giving it a modern and timeless look.
The white interior of the lampshade optimally reflects the light, ensuring it blends softly into the surroundings. The shade's wide, rounded shape contributes to even light distribution, creating a pleasant ambiance. The Shelter table lamp is ideal for living rooms, offices, or bedrooms, where it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The Shelter table lamp is not only beautiful but also practical. It consists of two parts that can be easily assembled. A 2-meter-long textile cable with an integrated light switch is included, making the lamp particularly convenient to use. The cable is routed through a rounded opening with a small brass detail, which is a distinctive design feature of the lamp.
HolmbäckNordentoft, the designers of the Shelter lamp, were inspired by the idea of transforming the unavoidable cable into an aesthetic element. The result is a lamp that is not only functional but also a work of art. The Shelter table lamp is an example of Scandinavian design at its best – minimalist, thoughtful, and beautiful.
