The Sten Regal 80 cm Travertine is a wall shelf from the series Sten by Normann Copenhagen. The Danish manufacturer is known for Scandinavian design that combines function and aesthetics. The shelf was designed by Simon Legald, who created Sten, a piece of furniture made entirely of stone.

A shelf made entirely of stone

The name Sten means "stone" in Danish – and that's exactly what the shelf is: a simple stone slab resting on two rounded shelf supports, also made of stone. The travertine color, with its natural veining, gives each piece a unique pattern, ensuring that no two are alike.

Sculpable and practical at the same time

Simon Legald wanted to create a unified whole with Sten, where the supports themselves become part of the aesthetic experience, rather than merely serving as a structural element. Thus, the shelf on the wall acts as an artistic element while simultaneously offering space for books, vases, or small still-life arrangements.

The Sten Regal 80 cm Travertine measures 80 cm in length, 18 cm in depth and 13 cm in height and weighs 10.2 kg. Normann Copenhagen This model originates from Denmark but is manufactured in China. The Sten series is available in 80 cm and 120 cm sizes, as well as in black and white.

Wie der Name schon andeutet, das dänische Wort für Stein, handelt es sich bei Sten um ein dekoratives Regal komplett aus Stein.
